- Extra quality; only the purest copper, such as wires for electrical cables
- Class 1 quality; new copper sheets waste, no alloys, scrapings
- Class 2 quality; old copper for collecting, without residues of other metals
- Class 3 quality; old copper for collecting with some alloys (old oxidized gutters, vineyard sprayers, etc.)
