Brass, whose market value is approximately half of that of copper waste, can be found in fittings, various valves and other assemblies where there is risk for excessive erosion and where the demand for material strength exceeds that of other materials. Also brass is highly popular among secondary metals. It is divided into the following subgroups:
- brass for collecting (taps, valves, etc.);
- brass shavings;
- ms58 brass parts.
